Vancouver Intl. Airport Named Best Airport in North America Again

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has once again been recognized as Best Airport in North America at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, earning the title for the 15th time. YVR also ranked 10th Best Airport in the World, climbing three spots from 13th in 2025. With over 13 million passengers casting their votes, this recognition reflects what the YVR team delivers day in and day out.

The award comes on the back of a record-breaking year, with YVR welcoming 26.9 million travelers in 2025 — the highest in the airport's history.

Lei (Peter) Xie, Senior Technical Analyst at Vancouver Airport Authority, shared his thoughts on the recognition:
